I am sharing 2 reports I wrote.
The first details an investment theme I am focusing on over the next 5 years. I believe that the past decade of US asset inflation will reverse, with further declines in the most frothy areas of the market such as tech, and the resurgence of areas such as value. At the same time, I believe specific emerging/frontier markets with certain characteristics stand to benefit. In the report (it’s way too long to be a substack), I cover a few things that may be of interest:
Characteristics of emerging/frontier markets as investments
Explanations for the past decade of US asset outperformance and rest of the world underperformance
Explanations for why those factors are in reverse. One factor emphasized on that may be of interest is the return of inflation and its impact on asset prices
Why specific emerging/frontier markets are going to do quite well, and are well positioned relative to the US and rest of the world
Where we are positioned in this predicted cyclical rotation from US assets to specific emerging/frontier markets
An outline of strategy for approaching emerging/frontier market investing under this framework

As part of this strategy, I also wrote a writeup for one of these emerging/frontier markets I am bullish on, Uzbekistan.

Soon, I will release a writeup on an Uzbekistan company I believe will be of interest to most readers.
